Invited to Read at the Literary Death Match!

I’ve been invited to read at the Literary Death Match on Tuesday, September 18th, here, in Montreal! (All the details from their website below).

“Montréal isn’t just a mecca for indie bands and bilingual babes, it’s also host to some of Canada’s greatest literary and comedic talent — which is why Literary Death Match, Ep. Trois returning to Sala Rossa promises our zany brand of oddball antics peppered with gobs of (award-winning!) literature.

The stellar lit lineup includes these four powerhouses, each reading their most electric work in seven minutes or less: Taylor Tower (frequent contributor on the CBC program Wire Tap), Branka Petrovic (whose poetry was recently published in journals The New QuarterlyThe Malahat ReviewThe Antigonish Review and Arc), Jonah Campbell (author of Food and Trembling: An Entertainment) and A.M. Klein prize-winning poet Gabe Foreman (author of A Complete Encyclopedia of Different Kinds of People)!
They’ll be judged by an all-star trio, including The Dears singer/keyboardist extraordinaire Natalia Yanchak, author/book reviewer Joel Yanofsky (author of Bad Animals: A Father’s Accidental Education in Autism) and one more to be named shortly!

Hosted by LDM creator Todd Zuniga. Produced by LDM Montréal executive producer Carmen Joy King.
